Syabutsu (写仏) is a centuries-old Buddhist practice of copying the image of a Buddha. Unlike a standard art class, the goal is not to create a masterpiece, but to find tranquility within yourself as you follow each line.
Upon arrival, we provide you with a specialized tracing sheet and writing tools. As you carefully trace the delicate features of the Buddha, you will notice your breathing slow down and your thoughts become clearer.
