This is not a sightseeing tour, but a temporary reservation of sacred temple space for your group alone.
On Mount Koya, temple life continues as part of daily religious practice. Rituals, meditation, and meals are not performances but living traditions. For this program, sacred halls are set aside exclusively for your group (1โ15 guests) for approximately 2.5 hours.
You will take part in a private Goma fire ritual, private Ajikan meditation, and a refined Shojin Ryori meal served within the temple. Guided by resident monks and staff, this experience is suited to those seeking cultural authenticity, quiet depth, and meaningful spiritual encounter rather than sightseeing entertainment.
Completely Private Setting Rituals and meditation are conducted only for your group, with no other visitors present.
Monk-Led Goma Fire Ritual A resident monk performs the Goma ceremony in a reserved temple hall.
Personal Guidance in Ajikan Meditation Posture, breathing, and focus are explained in English. Suitable for beginners.
Refined Shojin Ryori Meal Traditional Buddhist cuisine enjoyed in a partitioned temple hall space with a calm atmosphere.
All-Weather Experience The entire program takes place indoors, unaffected by weather conditions.
